Detailed Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival in Kathmandu

  • Arrive in Kathmandu.
  • Meet with your trekking group and guides for a briefing about the trek, discussing the route, safety, and important details.
  • Final preparations for the trek, including gear check.
  • Welcome dinner in the evening to get to know your fellow trekkers and enjoy traditional Nepali cuisine.
Day 2

Drive to Syabrubesi (4-5 hours)

  • Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi, the starting point of the Langtang trek. The drive takes about 4-5 hours, offering scenic views of the countryside.
  • Arrive in Syabrubesi, a small village along the Trishuli River.
  • Overnight stay in Syabrubesi.
Day 3

Trek to Lama Hotel (2,470m)

  • Start the trek from Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel (about 5-6 hours of walking).
  • The trail passes through beautiful forests of rhododendron, oak, and bamboo. You’ll also cross several streams along the way.
  • Overnight stay in Lama Hotel.
Day 4

Trek to Langtang Village (3,430m)

  • Trek from Lama Hotel to Langtang Village (about 6-7 hours).
  • As you ascend, you will start to notice the dramatic landscape change, with views of the Langtang Lirung Peak.
  • You’ll pass through yak pastures and cross a few wooden bridges.
  • Overnight stay in Langtang Village, which was rebuilt after the 2015 earthquake.
Day 5

Trek to Kyanjing Gompa (3,865m)

  • Trek from Langtang Village to Kyanjing Gompa (around 4-5 hours).
  • As you approach Kyanjing Gompa, you will see spectacular views of Langtang Lirung and other surrounding peaks.
  • Kyanjing Gompa is a beautiful Buddhist monastery with stunning surroundings.
  • Overnight stay in Kyanjing Gompa.
Day 6

Explore Kyanjing Ri

  • Acclimatization Day: Hike up to Kyanjing Ri (4,773m) for panoramic views of the Langtang Himal range. The hike takes about 3-4 hours to the top.
  • After spending time at the top, descend back to Kyanjing Gompa.
  • You can also visit the Kyanjing Monastery or explore the surroundings.
  • Overnight stay in Kyanjing Gompa.
Day 7

Trek Back to Lama Hotel

  • Trek back from Kyanjing Gompa to Lama Hotel (about 6-7 hours).
  • The descent is easier, but still requires attention, as the trail can be rocky.
  • Overnight stay in Lama Hotel.
Day 8

Trek to Syabrubesi

  • Trek from Lama Hotel back to Syabrubesi (about 5-6 hours).
  • Enjoy the relaxing downhill walk through lush forests and charming villages.
  • Arrive in Syabrubesi and enjoy a final night in the village.
Day 9

Drive Back to Kathmandu

  • Drive from Syabrubesi back to Kathmandu (approximately 6-7 hours).
  • Arrive in Kathmandu, transfer to your hotel, and relax after the trek
Day 10

Kathmandu Sightseeing & Farewell

  • Spend the day exploring Kathmandu's famous UNESCO World Heritage Sites, such as:
    • Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple)
    • Pashupatinath Temple
    • Boudhanath Stupa
    • Kathmandu Durbar Square
  • Enjoy a farewell dinner with your group and guides to celebrate the successful completion of your trek.
Day 11

Fly Back

  • Depending on your flight time, you can either relax or do some last-minute shopping.
  • Depart from Kathmandu and fly back to your home.
